Beginning A

This class if for those brand new to tango, with or without experience in other dances. We want to give you a thorough understanding of what makes Argentine tango so special! We'll cover posture, the embrace, and the fundamentals of connecting with your partner and lead/follow skills. You'll learn the foundation techniques and figures of tango, such as walking, parallel and cross systems, and ochos. And you'll be introduced to the artful strategies that prepare you for social dancing at a milonga

Beginning B

Continuing where Beginner A leaves off, this class covers fundamental technique, partnering skills, figures, improvisation and navigation. You can take Beginning B or C in either order, so long as you have already completed Beginner A or equivalent. Classic figures are covered, including ochos, molinete, la cruzada, and ocho cortado. As always, musicality, connection, and natural movement will be emphasized.
